Feed back

This is our project on final cut express. It shows our rough edit. Me and my parter will be changing some things around.

The feedback we got from this particular shot was that we needed to change it to a shot of the girl being bullied. This is due to the sound not being any good and the picture was too blurry.

Me and my partner got good feedback from our teacher. She told us that this shot was good and it was a powerful shot.

Me and my group partner got feedback from our teacher. She told us that the shot was good, but we needed a reverse shot of the stairwell or the girl, to show what the bully is looking at. We will have to go out and shoot this at a later date.

Ancillary product research

Prom-Night_poster.jpg

The title of the film already gives away the audience that the film is targeted for. This film would be targeted at 16- 18 year old females, as that is usually the ages of when young people go to proms.

The use of a young girl screaming with a crooked tiara on her head symbolises that the film is going to be mostly based around girls in distress/in danger at their prom, therefore appealing to a more female audience.

The use of the blue/icy tones of the foreground image suggests that it may be a cold and dark film and then the contrast of the film

being called “Prom night” (which is associated with som

ething happy) may entice the female audience into wanting to know/ find out what is going t

o happen in the film.
